Our New Website!
After much anticipation, we are excited to announce the launch of our new website. Our old one was fine, but in a changing world, it was important for us to update the look, the information, and the samples utilizing newer technology. You will also see that we went through a complete rebranding as well. Whereas we previously had a more formal, corporate look that reflected our printing services, we now have a fresh, colorful branding that reflects all of the marketing, graphic/creative design, and printing services that we offer.
If you had seen our old website, you'll notice all of the new features of this new site. Here are a few new features and how they were added. Feel free to ask us how you could do something similar with your own website!
Details:
Content Management System - Traditionally, most websites have been built so that changing it is difficult. To do so, you would either need someone with strong IT experience or the original developer to make changes. Our website was built with a CMS, meaning we easily make the changes we want and they will automatically upload into the coding. Our website will always be up to date and relevant. And with constantly new content, it will increase return traffic to the site.
Interactive Flash - Not only do we have a flash component on our homepage, but it links to the rest of the site. Each button toggles, but clicking on one opens up the larger image and includes the option to link to the portfolio the image is found in.
AJAX Portfolios - We have a lot of great samples of our work and will always have new projects we want to show off. We have developed a photo application that allows us to include portfolios on each individual page. The technology we used, called AJAX, is what animates them and makes navigation simple. We also have the ability to create new pages with this AJAX technology as we continue to expand upon the services we offer and want to show more examples.
Forms - The new forms on our site allow the user to ask questions, request quotes, sign up for our mailing list, or provide feedback after a job. Each form is linked to a different database and also sends us email communications so we can follow up as quickly as possible.
Social Media Toolbar - Did you notice the toolbar at the bottom of our page? Use it to post the current page to your social media sites, or see what's happening at our sites!
Upcoming Changes:
FTP Solution - Soon you'll be able to upload files to our FTP site directly from this website. You will no longer need to remember our separate FTP address!
Added Content - We have a lot of samples to show off. Keep checking back to see which samples we continue to add to our portfolios, as well as a few additional services.
Home Page Interaction - There are still plans in the works to add an RSS news feed or live Twitter feed to our homepage.
Online Billing - Eventually, you will be able to log into our website to view your account and pay bills.
